All the data gathered by the collection of Rhapsody devices is transmitted to the Rhapsody software hosted by Amazon Web Services through a highly secure protocol. Regular checks, security/vulnerability updates, and data backups ensure the ongoing availability of the service.

A network edge appliance, the Integration server is only required for Rhapsody integrations with PMS, BMS, door locks, or other third party devices or systems.When the Integration Server is used, all Rhapsody devices will first communicate on a local network to the Integration Server.
The Integration server maintains a connection with the cloud to allow for reporting and control capabilities in the Rhapsody dashboard.
